Filming Confirmed
We have got confirmation that we can begin filming tomorrow at the Lighthouse Theatre. We are very excited about this and ready to go.

Camera accessories
Today while I was at work in the camera section I came across a range of different camera accessories as shown below.

Progression meeting
Today our group had a meeting with Mr Henton to check our progressions and makesure that we are on the right route to success. After talking to Mr Henton we ensured that we took his advice to keep our blog up to date and stay on top of things.
Filming
After much hassle and exchange of words, Jack has finally finalised the date to which we can have the lighthouse theatre for 2 hours. Its has been agreed for Wednesday the 1st of February so that we can film our horror opening.

obtaining costumes
Due to changing certain scenes in our opening it's only right to rethink what costumes are going to be worn so that the mise en scene. However after some discussion and thought we decided to keep the costumes the same as before as it will give a good feel of characters role and importance.
The first costume that we looked at was for the main character. (Bruno) Bruno got the part because he fitted our candidate specification of being roughing and having the right look. The main character has the lead role and is the most important character because he is going to unveil illuinati so we decided that this character wears a suit.
These are some picture of our group and other possible candidate to play the main role in suits because our first choice cast is no longer available. Now we come on to the second character who will be wearing some form of a monks robs with the illuminati mask.
We recently ordered the robe on line and this should be delivered shortly. The robe we ordered is shown below however below that is a few others that we looked into before settling on this one.

Opening Titles
Here is a taster of our opening titles created by group member Jordan Mander. When making this low quality sample of "Pav Production" Jordan used the film Tron Legacy for inspiration and if you've seen the film you should be able to see how Jordan has turned that inspiration into his own work.
Jordan used a software called adobe after effects. I think that Jordan has done a good job here creating this title and that Adobe after effects is a better title software than Live Type as it gives you more freedom and allows you to do so many more things.

Location Confirmed
Today during a non contact lesson we decided to ring up the light house thater becuase they didn't reply to Jacks 3 emails. Upon consistent failure of conformation, a group contact within the theatre suggested that we called the manager(Lucy Hatfield) directly.
After talking to the manager we confirmed a date.
The deadline time is fast approaching and it is absolutely vital that we gain conformation for the access to film using the theatre. It is currently January and we need have our filming done by April. We can not act future upon filming matter until the conformation has been received. We shall now play the waiting game.

Software
After using Livetype and creating a few example titles, our group decided that we would rather use Adobe After Affects because it offers so much more in contrast to Livetype. Jordan from our special effects team quickly learnt how to use Adobe After Effects and started to produce some experimental titles.
To future our knowledge on Adobe After Effects we used YouTube to find some tutorials.

Title creation
Today i went on livetype in my spare time to experiment more on the style and type of titles that are avaible to us. Personally, I don't think that titles are of a good quality because the effects and fonts are amateur and basic.
Another disadvantage of using Livetype is that everyone is using it, so our project won't look much different to the others in our class. I think that it's important to have some form of originality so that it looks better.

Group discussion
We have just had our 3 week Christmas half term and now it's time to go back to school, because of this we decided to have a team meeting and discuss current affairs. This meeting consisted of us going over what we have already achieved, where were at and then what what else we need to accomplish within the given time frame.
Below are some of the important points that came out of our discussion:
A list of different tasks that need to be completed
A list different props that we would need or could use
Which costumes we would need to purchase
Any new shots that we could add to our current list or change from the current list
I fell that our "Board meetings" are very beneficial to us as a groups because we can track our progress and plan for the future.
